Applications
Designed for extremely high-pressure and high-impulse applications, making it ideal for demanding hydraulic systems. It surpasses performance standards for SAE 100R12, EN 856 R12, and ISO 3862 Type R12. Additionally, it meets the rigorous performance criteria of EN 856 4SP. This hose is compatible with biodegradable hydraulic fluids such as polyolester, polyglycol, and vegetable oil, as well as conventional petroleum-based fluids. Available in continuous lengths of 36 to 60 meters, the Gates EFG3K hose provides the versatility needed for various industrial needs.
The Gates EFG3K also meets the Flame Resistance Acceptance Designation “MSHA 2G”, ensuring it can handle biodegradable hydraulic fluids in challenging environments.
Features
- Isobaric hose rated for 3,000 psi working pressure
- Tube: Constructed with black, oil-resistant synthetic rubber (Nitrile – Type C)
- Reinforcement: Four alternating spiraled layers of high-tensile steel wire
- Cover: Black, oil-resistant synthetic rubber (Neoprene – Type A), with a color-coded layline. An option with the MegaTuff® abrasion-resistant cover is also available for enhanced durability.
Temperature Range
Operating efficiently within a temperature range of -40°C to +121°C.
