Swivel Joints are used wherever a swivelling connection between two parts is needed. In PTFE and stainless steel convoluted hoses, torque stress is one of the main causes of failure. Swivel Joints helps prevent premature flexible hose failures.
The Swivel Joints are designed for slow rotary motions under internal pressure and/or external stress such as traction and bending forces. Bunkering hoses are manufactured in limited lengths, including Swivel Joints provides a convenient way to join hoses together with the added benefit of reducing stresses on the assembly.
