Metering Valves

Fitok Metering Valves, supplied by Abdex – Australia’s trusted source for precision instrumentation valves. Engineered for ultra-fine, repeatable flow control, these valves are purpose-built for laboratory, testing, and industrial applications where accuracy is non-negotiable.

What is a Metering Valve?

A metering valve is a flow control device that allows precise regulation of fluid or gas through a system. Unlike ball or needle valves, metering valves provide exact incremental adjustment—ideal for low-flow or critical pressure systems.

Abdex supplies a full range of Fitok metering valves, built to perform in high-pressure environments up to 60,000 psi, with exceptional repeatability and control down to the smallest flow rates.

Key Features:

  •        Micrometer-style barrel & thimble design for accurate, visual flow adjustments.
  •        316 stainless steel construction for durability and chemical resistance.
  •        Pressure ratings up to:
    •                     15M Series: 15,000 psi.
    •                     30M Series: 30,000 psi.
    •                     60M Series: 60,000 psi.
  •        Cv value: 0.04 | Orifice size: 0.062″.
  •        Temperature range: –100°F to 1200°F (–73°C to 649°C).
  •        Extended graphite stuffing box available for high-temperature applications.
  •        Available in 1/8″, 1/4″, and 3/8″ tube fitting connections.

⚠️ Note: These valves are not designed for shut-off. For complete shut-off functionality, pair with a Fitok shut-off valve (15B, 20B, 30N, or 60N series).

Applications

Fitok metering valves are commonly used in

  •        Laboratories.
  •        Gas and Fluid sampling systems.
  •        High pressure testing rigs.
  •        Chemical metering setups.
  •        Instrumentation panels and manifolds.
