Abdex’s Hydraulic Hose Burst Sleeve is engineered to provide advanced containment and abrasion resistance in the event of a hose failure. Manufactured using high-tensile, de-aerated nylon fibres and compact weave technology, this lightweight yet incredibly durable sleeve reduces the risk of injury and environmental hazards caused by hydraulic hose bursts or leaks.

Tested to international safety standards, our hose burst sleeves are designed to handle demanding environments—delivering exceptional performance in temperature, abrasion, oil containment, and fire resistance.

Key Features

✔ External Hose Burst Protection
Effectively contains hydraulic fluid during hose rupture, reducing risk of injury and equipment damage. Tested to SAE J343, with 7x better oil retention than standard sleeves (withstands 8 bar for 15 seconds).

✔ High Abrasion Resistance
Woven fibres deliver maximum mechanical strength. Passed ISO 6945 abrasion testing, offering long service life with a thinner, more flexible wall than competitors.

✔ Extreme Temperature Capability

• Standard sleeve withstands continuous temperatures up to +100°C (peaks to +130°C).
• High-temp option (fibreglass + silicone) resists up to +200°C (+392°F).

✔ Fire Retardant Performance
Meets MSHA (USA) and RAPRA (UK) flammability standards.

✔ Anti-Static Properties
Conductivity between 3–5 x 10⁶ ohm/m, exceeding ISO 8031 electrical standards for safety around electronics and sensitive environments.
