Uniflex Machine Servicing, Calibration & Training

Abdex has an in-house technician qualified to service the full Uniflex range. Machines bought from us, or already in your workshop, can be serviced, calibrated and repaired here or on your site, anywhere in Australia.

Service, diagnostics and repair

We diagnose faults, carry out the repair and maintain the records, so the quality documentation is handled rather than left with you. We hold genuine Uniflex spares and parts stock, which keeps a machine out of service for less time.

Work is done in our fully equipped workshop or on your site, whichever suits the machine and the downtime. We can also take on machines from other suppliers. If you are unsure whether a machine is worth repairing, we buy and sell used crimpers and can tell you where a repair stops making sense.

Calibration and preventive maintenance

Annual calibration keeps a crimper producing to spec and keeps your assemblies defensible. Records are kept in an online service tool, with every action logged and the documents held in one place, so a customer or auditor asking for history gets an answer the same day.

Booking a service in advance is cheaper than a breakdown. We can schedule around your production rather than around a fault.

Installation and operator training

We install machines and train the operators. Training runs from an hour to familiarise operators with the controls, up to a full day covering installation, machine operation, software, production programming, data transfer and maintenance. It can be delivered at your site or in our workshop.

We also offer courses on best practice for hose and fitting assembly.
