Hose failure is rarely just the cost of the hose. It is the downtime, the clean-up, and the damage to whatever the hose was mounted on. Burst protection sleeves contain the spray if a line ruptures, hose wrap bundles and shields lines where they rub, and spiral guard takes the abrasion instead of the hose cover on lines dragged over steel, rock or ground.
Where a whipping hose is a risk, pipe slings and the UNIFLEX POP-LOCK retention system anchor the assembly so a failed hose cannot flail, which several standards require rather than recommend.
