SCOPE OF WORK
Abdex has recently completed a Control System. The Panels are designed to provide isolation, flow regulation, status monitoring, and general control of the processes involving the high-pressure testing in a test chamber of the Tri-axial Reactor Unit.
TEST / TRI-AXIAL REACTOR
The test cell is used for saturation of rock core samples with super critical water, heated CO2 and other media inside the high pressure / temperature reactor for up to 48 days duration. The maximum pressure inside the reactor is 85 bar and the maximum temperature 800oF.
PURPOSE
To measure and document the results of the effects of the various naturally occurring media on substrata formation rock core samples in a controlled environment.
