Abrasion Resistance
Our hose burst sleeve is made of tightly woven fibers for high mechanical strength and resistance . ABDEXSLEEVE fibres have a tensile strength superior to any other similar product and have successfully passed the abrasion test according to ISO 6945. It is due to ABDEXSLEEVE’s superior technology, that it is possible to obtain a product with a thinner wall thickness, which results in a sleeve lighter, more flexible and easier to fit.
Pressure Resistance
Our hose burst sleeve offer an effective safety barrier by retaining oil spills should damage or malfunction occur on flexible hoses during service. Tests following sAe J 343 show 7x better oil retention than competitors, withstanding 8 bar pressure for 15 seconds.
Fire Restistance
Textile fibres provide excellent flame propagation resistance, enabling ABDEXSLEEVE to withstand and pass severe flammability tests as conducted by MSHA (USA) and RAPRA (UK).
Electrical Conductivity
Electrical conductivity values of 3-5 x 106 o hm/m, exceeding ISO 8031 standards.
High Temperature Resistance
Made of fibreglass and silicone rubber, provides excellent protection in very high temperatures up to +200˚C (+392˚F).

Abdex strip Securely fastens hoses or cables with a strong self-locking textile strip, ideal for attaching to machines. ABDEXSTRIP features stainless steel AISI 316 locking rings, designed for heavy-duty industrial use, and made with the same materials as ABDEXSLEEVE.
