Abrasion Resistant Applications

The new Ultra High Pressure Tough Jacket™ hose types are equipped with a robust, yet flexible,Polyurethane cover, that is even more abrasion resistant than the standard double outer cover hose types from Parker Polyflex.This proprietary blend of Polyurethane provides up to 100 x more abrasion resistance than a standard Polyurethane cover.For extra safety, Parker Polyflex combines this WJTA colour coding compliant feature with Color Guard™.ColorGard™ features a second outer cover layer, that contrasts with the outer cover colour. This acts as a visual indicator of hose abrasive wear.

Construction

Core tube: Polyoxymethylene; 2440N-08V30/12 has a Polyamide core tube.
Pressure reinforcement: Four, six or eight spiral layers of high tensile steel wire.
Cover: Tough Jacket™ Polyurethane.
