Water Jetting Hoses

Our extensive selection of water jetting and blasting hoses is rigorously tested in compliance with AS 4233 Part 1 standards. Abdex offers a broad range of hoses from leading brands, including Abdex, Parker Polyflex, and Transfer Oil. Available in sizes from 5/32″ to 1 1/4″, these hoses support pressure ratings from 200 bar to ultra-high pressures of up to 3,200 bar (46,412 psi). As the exclusive distributor of the Parker Polyflex range in the Asia-Pacific region, Abdex ensures access to the industry’s highest quality solutions. Our hoses are ideal for ultra-high-pressure water jet cutting equipment, whether used with water alone or with abrasive additives. They offer a flexible alternative to steel piping, suited for applications requiring durability and flexibility, such as compression forming (hydroforming). Key features include polyoxyethylene core tubing and a polyamide cover, making them a versatile and reliable choice for demanding environments.

WATER JETTING HOSES

Thermoplastic

High and ultra high water jetting hoses are designed to withstand harsh conditions in construction, shipbuilding, power generation, and general cleaning.

Rubber

Very high constant pressure blasting for water and water emulsions scaling systems, and medium to high pressure water jetting applications.

Applications

General industrial cleaning applications on construction sites and ship docks, in all UHP applications where rotation is beneficial. Easy installation after assembly. No clamping ring and clamping screw needed. Flexibility Under pressure is given through buffering rotating swivel fitting.

Benefits

  • • Hose remains free of torsion during movements in the application.
  • • Flexibility of the hose when set under pressure.
  • • Less wear and tear on the assembly, longer lifetime.
  • • Reduced operator fatigue.
  • • Hoses can be moved without twisting and kinking.

FAQ

All hoses from Abdex can be pressure tested in compliance with Australian AS 4233 Part 1 standards.

The right jetting hose will depend on your application and equipment.

  • Pipe Size: Smaller hoses (1/4” or 3/8”) suit narrow drains, while larger hoses (1/2” or 1 1/4”) handle bigger pipes.
  • Pressure & Flow: Match the hose to your jetter’s PSI and flow rate for safe and efficient operation.
  • Hose Length: Longer hoses may reduce pressure, so check your machine’s capabilities.

For expert advice and high-quality jetting hoses, contact Abdex Industries!

At Abdex we have a large range of hose sizes to fit your needs depending on your application. Our hose sizes include: 1/8″, 5/32″, 3/16″, 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1 1/4″.

The recommended pressure range will depend on the application and the material being treated. Abdex offers many different hoses suited from medium to ultra high pressure.

Medium Pressure: up to 3,000 psi is suitable for residential plumbing systems, including drain and sewer jetting.

High Pressure: 15,000-20,000 psi is used for high pressure service for the construction and shipbuilding industries and for general industrial cleaning applications.

Ultra High Pressure: 20,000 psi+ is used with very-high pressure lances for the construction and shipbuilding industries or for common industrial cleaning applications. Mainly used for hydrodemolition and removal of accumulated dirt and materials from surfaces such as concrete, asphalt and tanks.

Class A refers to high pressure water jetting systems with an output capability range of 800-5,600 bar litres per minute.

Class B refers to high pressure water jetting systems with an output capability range of more than 5,600 litres per minute.
