Applications
Flexible connection between the upper end of the stand pipe and the top drive or swivel, and between the pump and the lower end of the standpipe, for pumping mud at high pressure in oil drilling and exploration work. Rotary applications on work over rigs and slim hole or seismograph rigs designed to operate at a maximum of 5,000 psi rated working pressure. Air operations, blast hole and shot hole work on small and medium size drilling rigs.

Construction
Core tube: Special blend synthetic rubber, full flow.
Pressure reinforcement: Multi-layer high tensile super flexible spiral steel wire.
Cover: Abrasion, oil and weather resistant synthetic rubber.
Colour: Black and red.
